I've been insanely busy lately, but I wanted to participate in the MerMay challenge. 
I decided to use a simple theme, so I drew mermaids inspired by the playing card suits! From left to right: Spades, Diamonds, Clubs and Hearts.
Maybe next year I could try participating the whole month...

Excellent and creative use of shapes. 
They've been wonderfully integrated with the organic aspects of the characters and "extras" they interact with (fishes and shells).
